About Ad Gerich

CEO / Managing Director of InProcess-LSP. A highly innovative company focused on realtime (nano)particle size characterization. We aim to develop and commercialize groundbreaking Process Analytical Technology solutions for industry and academia. With a strong background in physics, (PAT) measurement technologies, analytical chemistry, we are eager to provide meaningful solutions for our customers.     Binnen de de Afdeling: Oral and Polymeric Product Development, onderdeel van Development binnen MSD/Organon is sinds 2009 een dedicated PAT groep opgericht van ongeveer 5 personen (HBO-PhD). Deze groep houdt zich met het ontwikkelen, valideren en toepassen van Process Analytical Technology (PAT) voor veelal meng- en droogprocessen en reactiemonitoring in development- en productieomgeving. Naast PAT wordt vibratie-spectroscopisch onderzoek ten behoeve van klachtenanalyse en product- en procesontwikkeling. Typische expertisegebieden zijn Nabij Infrarood (NIR) spectroscopie voor PAT, NIR Imaging, mid-IR en mid-IR microsopie en Raman. Verder bestaat er een brede expertise op het gebied van multivariate data analyse zoals het ontwikkelen en valideren van PCA en PLS modellen. Werken aan PAT projecten is een multidisciplinaire aangelegenheid waarbij zowel analytische als technologische, Quality als RA aspecten een belangrijke rol spelen.

Toepasbaarheid van NIR op verschillende vlakken zoals assays en content uniformity zijn onderzocht.
