I've been working since March 2000. I started as a computer assistant during my OJT way back in college. I help customers how to navigate the computer like how to access the programs, where to go if needing to send an email or to establish connection in a chat session. After I graduated, I started as a card seller in Bingo Bonanza and got promoted as a Bingo Host in October 2001. As a card seller, I sell bingo cards to players, after the selling time, I will go to my assigned area and become a hawker to check on the players for anyone who needs assistance with the game and whistle if anyone declares BINGO and get the winning card and give it to the command station to be verified. After 6 months, I got promoted to a Bingo Host. Being a Bingo Host, I make sure to explain the bingo rules and game mechanics. I coordinate with the command post to make sure that every sales target per session is met. Being on a stage and at the center of the operations floor, using the mic, I point the card sellers where to go if players are still asking for additional cards. I manage the selling time per game per session. After the selling time I make sure that the players are able to keep up with the intervals when the bingo balls are drawn so that no one will miss a number on their bingo cards. Once a player declares BINGO, I verify the winning card/s if it's valid and if it has the last number called to be declared as the winner/s. At the end of the day, me and my manager will check if we have met the sales target and we will brainstorm how to increase the revenue. I am also in charge of monitoring the jackpot amounts and making sure that it is updated everyday. In March 2008, I ventured into the BPO industry and started off as a sales agent in Etelecare, till I got hired in HSBC in August 2009. I started as a collections officer then got promoted in 2013. This is where my career as an HR Generalist started. I attend to our employees' concern via phones or cases. I help them create cases as requested or pull up the cases that they have created in ServiceNow. I provide answers on a Tier 1 level within 24 hours or refer it to Tier 2 for complex cases not in scope with Tier 1. I answer (phone) / provide a response (cases) on HR queries ranging from annual leave, entitlement, benefits, payroll and recruitment, and I filter complex cases to be sent to Tier 2 for further assistance. I've completed the Yellow belt Lean Six Sigma training that helped me add another level of customer experience and engagement as an HR rep.
