Ada Aukje was educated at the InterManagement School in the Haque (Netherlands) where she obtained a BA degree in Business Management and Marketing in 1987. By then she already had her Glider Pilot license, learning to fly at age 16. In the 90’s she was asked by her Gliding Club Board, to become a FI, she passed the theoretical exams but because of moving abroad she couldn't finish her training to become a FI. Instead she focussed on Cross-country flying and competition flying. Currently she is a member of 2 Flight Clubs based in the Netherlands, she chairs one of them. She is also member of the KNVVL (Royal Dutch Aviation Organization) and AOPA Netherlands. For both organizations she writes columns and accepted board positions in the field of Public Relations, Marketing and Finance (2009-2019).After her study internship at Pan Am World Airways in New York, her biggest wish was to pursue a career in the Aviation Industry, however due with the volatile nature of the airline sector, she had to change jobs several times between the Financial and Aviation sector to have a job in the first place. This also meant that she was lucky enough to work for Transavia, Air Aruba As a Flight Attendant, as Commercial Director Of the Aviodrome Museum & Cargo executive at Schiphol Airport.Her Financial Experience was gained working at major Investment and Financial Organisations like Merrill Lynch, MPC Capital, alsways focussing on tailormade solutions for clients, private, business as well as Institutional Investors. Before starting her own Insurance Company she worked as a Senior Broker at a major Aviation Insurance Brokerage in Amsterdam. She has a major network built in the industry over the last 35 years.The broad experience and understanding of both sectors, helped her tremendously in her choice to focus her own business working for the Aviation sector primarily.Ada Aukje can add value to your organization with her knowledge & experience of Insurance & Aviation. Providing specialist Aviation Insurance solutions to Aviation clients, Sales & Marketing support to Aviation Start-ups AND training as a facilitator.Being a pilot herself and with an extensive knowledge of the sector, the necessary connections can be made with key players, investors as well as target groups. She is mother of 2 sons and a daughter.
