Ada Brown is the Founder and CEO of International Media Business Affairs (IMBizAff), an international business affairs and media/distribution consultation company. Ms. Brown brings decades of experience in all aspects and areas of entertainment law representing all sides of the proverbial table - having held a senior position in house for studios and networks as well as representing individuals and companies in private practice. Ms. Brown has been extremely successful initiating and negotiating the acquisition of various types of IP content including literary works, podcasts, formats and video games. In addition, Ms. Brown has negotiated multi million dollars license fee agreements, deals for above the line talent such as writers, directors, producers, merchandising and distribution agreements. Besides representing individual talent, Ms. Brown has represented buyers such as Warner Bros, Disney, ABC, Sony, and HBO, to name a few.Ms. Brown's expertise negotiating on behalf of a major television studio and varied media platforms also extends to international and domestic TV production(s), animation, co-productions and licensing agreements involving all major platforms including broadcast, cable and streamers. Ms. Brown is looked upon as the expert on foreign co-productions including localized productions; and has negotiated multi window licensing deals across the world with companies such as Charter, Channel 4, the BBC, Britbox and ITV.Before entering private practice, Ms. Brown acted as a Senior Business Affairs executive (in-house) negotiating with major studios, broadcast networks, streamers, and production companies. In her role as a senior executive, Ms. Brown negotiated complex deals, including numerous multi-million dollar overall deals as well as writer, director, and producer deals.
