Starting Nov 2013, I am switching to handle indirect (Administration & IT) related vendor management and procurement. In this new post, gathering all data from various angles, contract terms renewal, vendor consolidation and price negotiation are my main jobs.

Collecting data with regional offices around the globe and analyze it for using in different purpose like price negotiation and items reorganization. In addition of that, perform price monitoring, negotiation and vendor management under S.China and global suppliers based on company target saving goal and set regulation.

Being a Product development executive in L&E for 2 years, I have gained working experiences with different fields in customer service, product development, material ordering, finance, manufacturing and quality control from design /material sourcing to final product quality checking. In addition of those two years, I also developed supplier relationship and vendor management skills which lead me have a chance to join the Purchasing department as Purchasing officer in 2003. After acquisition between L&E/RVL with Avery Dennison , I am transferred to Purchasing department in Avery Dennison. During these 7 years, I have been promoted from Purchasing officer to Procurement supervisor in 2006 and retitled as Commodity supervisor in the year 2010. In these years, I work closely with GPD, CS for US customers as well as operation, finance and quality department. Apart from that, I also have chances to join different Kaizen and global projects with various departments from local and oversea offices. Also, I will attend trade shows/exhibition in paper and accessory to enhance my product knowledge and explore new vendor possibility. For training side, I did material sourcing presentation to our team member. In 2007, due to the acquisition between Paxar and Avery Dennison, I got chance to handle more sourcing and vendor management related issue for Europe market plus learn to use the Oracle system. Joined with another purchasing team member, we provided a presentation to Shenzhen colleagues regarding item creation and purchasing flow.

Being worked in a trading company, my job duties are liaise between local ,oversea suppliers and customers to make sure goods are delivered on time plus sourcing various fashionable items by customer request. In addition, arrange exhibitions and perform general office works.

In a Sales and Marketing department of an ISO 9000 listed home appliances manufacturing company, I worked closely between various internal departments, customers in local, China and oversea countries. My function is to make sure each ad hoc project is coordinating smoothly. Also, frequent report to the management regarding project status and perform marketing activities such as arrange exhibitions to introducing the company.

Pre-sale and after-sales follow up between insurance companies and customers to make sure all policies are delivered on time with fulfil customer needs.
