Under minimal supervision responsible for the delivery of a variety of mental health treatment modalities, including individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, play therapy, milieu therapy, drug and alcohol counseling, recreational or activities therapy, behavior modification strategies, and parent education programs. Perform psychological evaluations as part of the intake procedure. Coordinated and deliver a comprehensive treatment program, including being assigned as primary therapist to a specific caseload, formulate and updating treatment plans. As primary therapist performs related documentation and paperwork duties, including comprehensive admission note, initial and updated treatment plan, progress notes, perform regular contacts with family members and community agencies. Responsible for obtaining authorizations for initiating treatment and continue care from appropriate insurance plans. Conduct mental health status exam before and after ECT treatment. Assisting in in-patient treatment by conducting assessment, creating safety plan and networking with other community resources to ensure patient continuum care.
