-Coiled over 200 compression springs according to engineering drawings while meeting tolerances for diameter, free length, coil count, squareness, and rate.-Modeled open and closed end compression springs in SolidWorks and 2D torsion spring templates in AutoCAD.-Corrected existing compression, extension, and torsion spring drawings in preparation for AS9100 audit.-Derived equations using calculus for transition coil pitch of closed end compression springs to accurately determine on-coiler free length for mandrel coilers in a lean manufacturing facility.-Wrote VBA subroutines to apply radial and axial springback equations to a proprietary coiling program applicable for multiple steel and titanium alloys.
