My ideal day consists of cleaning, organizing, planning, thinking, and everything else that is often a recipe for boredom.From a young age, I’ve always looked forward to making sure everything was in order. As a sophomore student at Los Altos High School, my desire for perfection often results in perfect grades and a consistently high GPA. I must admit, my narrow focus has been with me since day one, but it’s widened with the purpose of helping others. Rather than keep my goals of improvement to myself, I take pride in pushing others to do better as well. As cheesy as it may seem, my reason for finding work is also my reason for life. I value empathy, creativity, honesty, and support for others.Nowadays, I jump at any opportunity to help others. If a friend, family member, or acquaintance asks for help in studying, language, or even chores, I’m there. If a teacher needs supplies, I’m there. If someone wants to avoid doing busy work, I’m there, too. The achievement I take most pride in is a collection of small achievements where I’ve helped others to advance or improve in a certain aspect of their life.Because my goal in life is rather broad and vague, I work to develop as many skills as possible. That way, I can open several doors to a variety of different opportunities. I look forward to volunteering and have 25+ hours of community service from one semester under my belt. I’m quick with numbers, emotionally intelligent, and enjoy utilizing my wide vocabulary. My future can involve anything ranging from writing, finances, science, to cleaning, and I’d still be content if I get to make a difference.
