I am a Salesforce Professional who has pivoted from a 20 year career in customer service and sales. My experience in past industries has given me a strong suite of skills that I utilize daily as I gain hands-on experience. I stay active in many Salesforce communities and groups in order to improve my Salesforce knowledge, awareness of changes within the industry and to build professional connections along the way. During this time I have become a team leader in the Talent Stacker Career Development program, working with my group to help them achieve their own goals within their personal Salesforce journey. During my education in the Salesforce ecosystem I have developed a passion for the capabilities you have as an administrator to optimize the business process and aid a company in becoming more efficient in their processes. With 20 years experience in the customer service and retail industry I have gained many skill that improve my own performance when working within Organizations. I have worked as a junction point between many sides of each company I’ve worked for, helping to improve communication between each group and ensuring that the best outcome is achieved for all parties when possible. My experience in many positions has given me experience which ranges from end user to management, and these perspectives combine to give me a unique eye what ever business I am in. I love finding inefficiencies and repairing them. Each one is a riddle I can’t wait to solve.Outside of my passion for Salesforce I am a voracious reader, and enjoy traveling to new locations and meeting new people. I run a small hobby farm, managing the care of livestock and sustainable gardening. I have had a long love of fan culture and through that have developed crafting and manufacturing skills in character recreations as well as a growing love for fantasy and nature photography. I also co-ordinate and lead a small team of like minded friends as a ‘Game Master’ and player in a group of table-top gamers who have consistently met for over 7 years. I am an avid cyclist currently training for a trip across Canada, and in the future plan to cycle across many other countries. I love to share and teach the skills I have learned and have volunteered for many years teaching those skills to many interested parties whenever the opportunity allows. I have a passion in education and learning new skills and look forward to the skills and learning opportunities in my future with Salesforce.
