Managing the repair of the POD’s national infrastructure. Responsibility spans first malfunction report to repair and follow-up process/actions including any necessary redesign. Responses are systemised through design of a frontline questionnaire to help second line and third line support staff diagnose problems, plan action, create systems to track repair progress and log faults. Update schedules are devised for any POD that is returned to the PH (POD Hospital) - firmware update, PCB revisions, component revision, product improvements - the aim being that PODs only leave for reinstall when they have been updated with the latest product improvements and upgrades. Structuring communication and feedback to the person who reported the issue and to the internal media team to ensure delivery of a proactive fault rectification service. Arranging and managing outsourced component repair/supply and agreeing SLA's depending on POD ownership. Organisation of PH ‘surgery’ including spares and scrap components (complying with the WEEE directive) whilst maintaining a PH cost neutral operation.

In some cases I would be travelling and working internationally on a weekly basis in order to coordinate product development with stakeholders and project manage effectively. I was also responsible for liaising with smaller global clients/distributors, reviewing their requests for product enhancements and deciding and prioritising the development schedule for the product development team. Subsequent action included specification and sourcing scaleable resources to facilitate the completion of projects. In addition, I oversaw the design, implementation and rollout of international product, installation, and monitoring centre training programmes as well as the implementation of the backend systems to support them.
