Journalism provides me with the tools to explore and articulate stories that matter, fostering a commitment to truth, transparency, and social awareness. This aligns with my belief in the pivotal role of the media in shaping public discourse and holding power accountable. The political science minor complements my journalistic pursuits by providing a comprehensive understanding of political systems, ideologies, and global affairs. With over three years of diverse experience spanning the restaurant industry, retail, and leadership roles within various organizations, I bring a dynamic skill set and a thirst for knowledge to the table. As an undergraduate at the University of Colorado Boulder my dedication to continuous growth and learning has propelled me to actively seek out opportunities for personal and professional development. This has allowed me to hone my leadership and interpersonal skills through extracurricular activities such as Lead Colorado and my current role as the Secretary for the Colorado Federation of Young Republicans.
