Biologist, PhD in genetics and plant breeding and MSc in agricultural microbiology. I was senior research associate at DuPont Pioneer, working with genotyping in genetic breeding programs for corn and soybean. I worked with soybean at Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) and Soy Tech Seeds. Domain of advanced biotechnology and microbiology techniques, including large-scale genome sequencing, genotyping-by-sequencing, genotyping with microsatellite markers, marker assisted selection, molecular diagnostics and proteomics. I worked analysing ureides and nitrates for soybeans at Kansas State University, Kansas, US. I was able to introduce a new method to evaluate soluble sugars in corn using anthrone reagent. Also, I helped introducing a method to analyze fibers in forrages for feeding purposes. Currently, I work as visiting researcher at Embrapa, Londrina, Parana state, Brazil.
