I have over 20 years of legal experience in global trade and economic sanctions. I started my legal career in public service as a government attorney for two agencies at the Departments of Homeland Security and Commerce. I then practiced at a large law firm in Washington D.C., representing various industry clients before the Departments of State, Commerce, Treasury, and Defense. I received my undergraduate degree at Emory University and my law degree at American University's Washington College of Law.Outside of practicing law, I am a strong supporter of the AAPI community and I currently serve as the pro bono General Counsel for OCA – Asian Pacific American Advocates. I previously chaired the DC Mayor’s Commission on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs.
