I work in the Future Technologies division at Saab with research, system studies and future capabilities on the low TRL levels.Specialists at Saab lead the development of their particular fields. Mathematics and statistics have strong positions at Saab Surveillance as radar data are described by strong models and since military products naturally should satisfy guarantees (such as constant probability of false alarms in the case of radars). As a specialist I have the chance to influence the direction of future research by identifying opportunities, initiate collaborations and apply for funding.

I am working 20% at the department of Mathematical Sciences, financed by Saab. My research concerns deep learning accelerated Bayesian filtering and control. I am supervising one PhD student.

As Chief Scientist I was leading the development of an advanced track within advanced applied machine learning at Smartr. Beside this role I worked with customer projects in-house.

I built a group of algorithm developers at Syntronic. This involved recruitment, competence building, master thesis supervision, acting interface to academia and being the product owner of an in-house project for autonomous drive. Besides the leadership role I worked as consultant

I conducted research in stochastic control theory, numerical analysis and probability theory. Involved in teaching the course "Numerical analysis for engineers II".

I wrote my thesis about weak convergence of finite element approximations of parabolic stochastic partial differential equations. Developed new methods that required new theoretical developments. Lecturer in discrete mathematics. Organizer of the PhD seminar in mathematics 2011-2014.
