As Chairman, I am fortunate to be trusted by our growing party membership to lead the Hornchurch and Upminster Conservative Association. This role is diverse. Duties and responsibilities are constantly evolving but focus on safeguarding, training, financial responsibility, strategic planning and abiding by electoral law. At only 21 when appointed to this position, I am one of the youngest Chairmen within the Conservative Party. However, the 2024 General Election marked a reset within the organisation. The seat has gone from a 23,000+ Conservative majority to a much slimmer Conservative seat. Helped lead the successful campaign for Mottingham, New Eltham and Coldharbour council by-election resulting in an increased majority from 10 votes to 258 during the General Election.• Policy and research – natural analyst meaning logical use of thinking to approach tasks and problems. Confident in FOIs and research tasks to think ‘outside the box’. Good memory skills and ability to think of long-term consequences. • Communication and digital skills – responsible for the London WhatsApp groups with several thousand members. Able to create high quality literature and graphics with basic videography experience. Skilled in social media and Facebook campaigns.• Casework correspondence – able to write and organise correspondence to handle casework to a high level, using problem-solving skills to link into broader campaigns.
