About Adam Balfour

Founded and developed Scandinavias oldest and largest Human Factors consultancy, employing 20 professionals. Over 40 years experience promoting Human Factors in Norway in several industries, including the Oil and Gas, maritime, transportation and consumer services industry. In relation to consumer services, has worked with several domains such as self service systems, service design, and universal design. In the Oil and Gas Industry has worked for authorities, branch organisation, most oil companies, engineering companies and control system suppliers. Lectures at USN, AHO, Oslo Met, NTNU and UNIK in Human Factors. Nominated as External Examiner for IO at NTNU in Trondheim. Founder and Leader of european standards working group on Man Machine Interface. Led update of human factors and ergonomics sections of norsok standards S-002 and S-005 entitled "Working Environment and Human Factors".
