I'm a Bournemouth University graduate who achieved a First in BA (Hons) Multimedia Journalism and a Gold Standard NCTJ Level 5 Diploma. I was presented with the Newsquest Award for Best News Journalist at graduation.I pride myself on my compassion, determination and creativity which not only makes me a good colleague but also an adept journalist who is able to connect with a range of people. I have a particular love of radio and film. Engaging, provocative conversation is the crux of journalism along with reflection and introspection. Throughout my education my teachers have remarked that I can comfortably facilitate discussions on a variety of topics and express passion for my interests and curiosity towards anything I'm unfamiliar with. Using a platform to help, support, entertain or question people in all levels of society is what draws me to a career in journalism.
