Experienced Assistant Vice Chancellor with a significant tenure working in the higher education industry. Skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Event Management, Volunteer Management, Public Speaking, and Fundraising. Adam has more than 25 years of experience in advancement as well as a couple of years prior to that in admission. He administers the academic major gift fundraising at TCU collaborating with development directors and deans in 12 academic units and working directly with the library. Adam previously directed the advancement aspects of the regional development team, John V. Roach Honors College, Houston region and led the development efforts for the College of Fine Arts. He is currently co-chairing the National Campaign Committee at TCU.Prior to coming to his senses and becoming a Horned Frog 23 years ago, Adam managed the annual fund at Adrian College and was director of development for the College of Liberal Arts for the University of Texas at Arlington. Adam graduated from TCU with his Doctorate in Educational Leadership and has Masters and Bachelor’s degrees from Bowling Green and Hillsdale College, respectively. Adam is a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), the TCU Veteran’s Task Force, and a board member on the foundation arm of MHMR Tarrant County. He has served on the board for Business Volunteers for the Arts, been a fraternity advisor at TCU, a member of the TCU Wellness Committee, a member of the Vision in Action TCU Strategic Planning Committee for Academic Profile and Reputation, big brother in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization, a bracket-winning Little League baseball coach and a mediocre-to-poor YMCA basketball coach. Lastly, Adam’s resume includes playing a zombie and a living person on two episodes of The Walking Dead television show. He says his high school drama teacher would have been so proud.
