An unbelievable chance to give back to the local football community and help run a historic local club. I was given opportunities to help with ticketing for games and aid fans who had spent years attending games have a pleasant experience. Meeting peers passionate about the local area was rewarding and created a sense of community in a town I was relatively new to. I have made friends and connections I will cherish for years to come. My time volunteering at the Rangers has been invaluable.

Alongside two of my peers, I created a sustainable framework (with a constitution), for countywide youth participation in political matters. Furthermore, I acted as a Youth MP for West Durham, attending the UK Youth Parliament 2018 parliamentary sitting.
