I worked on design for railroad structures and doing bridge surveys. I designed or checked many types of walls, beam spans, dpg spans, concrete spans, pile foundations, and drilled shaft foundations. I also managed RFI response and management for a very large capacity project with several major bridge structures.

I was an intern for David Evans while they were busy designing the track and bridge structures for the RTD's West Corridor light rail. I mainly worked with engineers on detailing structures, performing quantities and estimates, and picking up redlines.

I worked as a design tech where I spent most of my time drafting and modeling video screen cabinets in pro-e and autocad and routing parts through the fabrication shop. It was a very cool job where I got to work on some of the largest video screens in the country going into sports venues.

I worked on a large highway project that was converting a small county highway into a state highway. It had a very large grading component. I spent most of the summer doing QA on the project. Many a proctor, moisture content, and sieve analysis was done that summer.
