Responsible for the overall strategic management of CHI’s enterprise-wide health and welfare programs. Additionally, Collaborate with HR leaders and the national and MBO/division sr. leadership to align the future direction of health and welfare plans with CHI and MBO/division specific business needs while delivering competitive and cost effective programs.

Management of daily operations and administration of all sponsored benefit plans. Maintenance of systems and data records relative to eligibility and enrollment. Manage HR operations, policies and procedures and the integration strategies to support organization strategic goals and activities. Handled the WC and Unemployment processes to ensure lowest possible premiums. Primary liaison with retirement plans, insurance companies and TPAs. Coordinated benefits database maintenance, upkeep and input changes. Ensured legal and union contract compliance in day-to-day operations and benefit plan designs. Responsible for oversight of installation, testing, training, and presentation of online benefits enrollment. Supervised 5 staff. Design/oversee development of communication modules for ee education. Coordinate changes in plan design, primary TPA contact for all benefits plan vendors and consultants. Coordinated benefit RFP planning, negotiation, selection, and implementation.
