I am a referencing support coordinator working for LSL property services, after 15 years of working customer facing roles i decided to change up my career path. As a referencing support coordinator it is my job support the entire LSL branch network with the background checks on prospective tenants. This can involve the visa/right to rent status of applicants. I am also tasked with liaising with Experian for more in depth checks in regards to applicants affordability scores and financial risk.I did not start in referencing support within LSLPS I started as a gas safety coordinator tasked with arranging gas safety inspections at within my portfolio of areas, I covered 36 areas of country working with hundreds of cases a day. I had a very minor sales roll which involved me selling our services removing the burden and guess work for landlords when it comes to renewal of their certificates.During this role I kept in depth records of all the steps i have taken with each property per week and set monthly targets to reduce properties that have not had their certificates renewed or checked. Part of the role involved selecting contractors to perform the safety checks I always attempted to select contractors based off the commission that could be earned and the service they provided.I have in house training in property legislation and customer service.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Before this career i worked in multiple low skilled jobs which helped me build customer service skills this included Retail work, Chef and sales using outbound calls.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Although this may not be the norm on Linkedin i also would like to a give a short summary on what I am looking for in an employer and as a career path.I am looking for work that is fast paced and changing daily, with a support structure which enables me to advance based off my own success. I believe in accountability above all else in success and failure which helps learn and adapt. I have always been interested in recruitment and target based work with proper training and guidance i can be success not just for me personally but for a prospective business also.
