Adam is Joint CEO at Blundstone, an iconic, fast growing global footwear brand. He previously held the roles of Co-Chief Operating Officer, and Global Head of Brands, Design and Consumer Engagement at Blundstone.Previously, Adam lead a Commonwealth Government initiative, delivering business growth and design services and programs for Australian businesses. This national program was initiated to generate innovation and enhance competitiveness through the establishment of brand and design capabilities in Australian businesses. Prior to this Adam was Director, Programs and Partnerships at the Creative Industries Innovation Centre, with lead responsibility for designing and scaling a series of programs supporting creative enterprises and entrepreneurs throughout Australia. Throughout his career, Adam has held senior positions in the public service, health research , community services and philanthropic sectors. Adam founded a consultancy company, SOCIAL, engaging with private industry to encourage and grow organisational corporate social responsibility. Adam has also co-founded several social ventures. He is an alumnus of the Sydney Leadership program. Over 2013 and 2014 Adam was awarded the Commonwealth Government's Excellence in Innovation Award and the Australia Day Achievement Medal.Adam was a TEDxNoosa Executive Committee member, and was appointed Thought Leader in Residence in 2014 at Brisbane Girls Grammar School. Adam is a published contributing author on two publications.
