Working as Pre-sales Engineer within Kaspersky - I covered the wide-ranging aspects of Sales Engineering for a leading security vendor.Working with our Enterprise and Channel sales teams to identify prospects and demonstrate the technical abilities of our products range, supporting customers and the channel through the trial and proof-of-concept stages, educating and enabling the channel through training - and hosting industry events are all key areas that I rapidly-increasing experience in.

Moving to a senior role - mentoring junior support staff and working directly with SLA/MSA customers increased my ability to educate and manage relationships.Handling internal and HQ level escalations between members of the team - working with product development to improve product functionality and reliability - and working directly to discuss and manage the addition of product features with the design team were all important aspects of the senior position.

Moving from the 1st-line general role - I focused specifically on learning non-windows OS types - including Linux and Unix variants - Mac OSX, iOS, Windows Mobile, Android and Symbian platforms.Additionally, worked with our cloud services for email and web filtration - gaining a wide understanding of the greater security landscape.
