Adam Brenner represents private equity funds, technology companies and venture capital funds based in the United States and abroad on their financings and other corporate transactions. Adam particularly enjoys advising companies and lead investors on strategic company growth, especially national security-related technology companies. He also has extensive experience working with emerging growth companies and investors on structuring transactions around international trade matters. Adam’s international trade practice includes preparing notices of transactions submitted to CFIUS, conducting internal investigations, and helping build company trade compliance programs.

Adam Brenner is an associate in Lowenstein Sandler’s Corporate Department and a member of the Tech Group. Adam represents venture capital funds, emerging companies, tech companies, private equity funds, non-U.S. operating companies and asset managers. Adam works closely with early stage companies that are developing innovative security solutions. He has experience in the various facets of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and large private equity purchases of publicly-traded companies. Adam also has experience counseling clients on international trade and investment matters, including the US government's regulation of foreign direct investment in the US (CFIUS), US anti-money laundering, US economic sanctions (OFAC) and export controls (ITAR, EAR). He has prepared notices of transactions submitted to CFIUS, conducted internal investigations, and helped build company trade compliance programs. Adam serves on the Board of the Crichton Foundation and the Henry Street Settlement Young Collectors Committee. He is also a Yale Library Associates Trustee and a member of the Atlantic Council.

Adam M. Brenner, an associate resident in the Firm’s New York office, is a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions, Technology and International Trade and Investment practices. As a member of the Firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions and Technology practices, Mr. Brenner advises clients in connection with venture capital financing, securities laws compliance, leveraged finance transactions, corporate governance issues and other general corporate matters, and frequently represents investment banking firms who are serving in a financial advisory role.Mr. Brenner also counsels clients on international trade and investment matters, including the US government's regulation of foreign direct investment in the US (CFIUS), US anti-money laundering, US economic sanctions (OFAC) and export controls (ITAR, EAR).
