As General Counsel supporting CSM Group's construction management projects and services, I provide legal counsel, strategy, and guidance on all company activities and projects, including making recommendations to improve risk management and managing litigation and disputes. In addition to supporting the company's People Operations team, managing corporate compliance and licensing, and supporting home office operations, I work alongside CSM Group’s preconstruction, marketing, accounting/finance, and field execution teams to prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, provide guidance on communications, and support timely and successful delivery of client projects.As a member of CSM Group's Executive Leadership Team, I support company-wide strategy and initiatives, manage the company's commercial insurance and surety programs, and provide direct support to the team of IT professionals that are responsible for company cybersecurity, systems and networks, and field execution support.

Position supported a broad range of legal, commercial, and corporate functions including: contract negotiations; litigation oversight and management; project and client communications; payment and other commercial disputes; proposals and project risk assessments; responding to discovery requests and other service of process; regulatory compliance and appeals; 50-state company licensing; digital initiatives; IT support and cybersecurity; and data privacy.
