I continuously updated my services based on customers’ needs to include electrical, joinery and building skills along with a complete design and installation service.Marketing Management — by researching my competitors, prospective customers, and possible locations for the business. I was able to decide on my customer base and pursue how best to reach them. I managed this by selecting a name for the business and the imagery I wanted to project. Which carried onto all promotional work and advertising plans.Sales Management —After determining a range of sales that are likely to be attained during the first year of operation, and a goal for the next year. I researched the market to determine what profits would be in line with the industry. Decide on prices that will not be too low, that will coincide with the market, and will make some kind of profit. I was able to create a sales forecast and project cash flow for three years and reviewed the sales made and updated cash flow reports on a monthly basis.Operations Management —Established the day-to-day operations within the company, and studied the processes, and make improvements as needed.Financial Management —Determined how much cash was needed to start the business and keep it functioning for at least two months before money comes in from customers.General Management — I Planned all of the organisational structure, goals and timetables, and monitored all areas of management.
