Complied 2 years’ worth of data to update our scrap percentages on raw steel used in the tray production process and significantly reduced making additional end of month adjustments during inventory. Preform inventory variance analysis and make necessary entries into the general ledger to account for any changes. Preform a yearly cost roll.

Coordinate and monitor implementation of engineering changes (ECSs) with all affected sections. Maintaining ECS database. Provide support to related sections with the resolution of ECS problems or parts application issues. Hold weekly meeting to review new, open, upcoming items and relate confirmed timing to other departments. Interpret information on the ECS cover sheet and drawings sent from parent company. Maintain broadcast code data and communicate changes requested by production and manufacturing engineering. Provide model change team with parts information, application data, and broadcast sheets prior to pilot builds.

Act as a liasion between suppliers and the production floor to reduce defects. Check parts to their respective blueprints to ensure they are within tolerance. Investigate issues to determine the root cause of a defect. Paredo defects to determine "Big Hitters", and drive down defects.
