I was born in Des Moines, Iowa and grew up In Johnston, Iowa, a suburb about 20 minutes from the center of Des Moines. I am currently pursuing academics at the University of Iowa, majoring in Finance at the Henry B. Tippie College of Business, at the University of Iowa, in Iowa City, Iowa. I find myself to be inspired and utterly mesmerized by the world of business, and every single opportunity that it presents. I am very passionate about my work, and my development as a student and an employee.I am currently developing new ways to generate profit and increase sales at Dental Distributors, Inc. I am a Project Manager and work on developing procurement API for my respective company, integrating it into the company efficiently and effectively. Our efforts with API Integration have led to a 50% profit increase since our project began. The use of procurement API within the company resulted in a revenue growth of over $2.2 million. I truly enjoy working with others, because it gives me a chance to pick the brains of my peers and come up with innovative solutions or ideas to enhance the company and to create a purpose. I enjoy a highly social work atmosphere, but also find it crucial to be apart of a determined, incredibly focused group.I really love to travel and I enjoy sports very much. I think traveling and sports relate to my character in the aspect of teamwork, stepping outside my comfort zone, exploring new things and innovations, and most importantly, they allow me to be creative and that is what makes me such a useful asset for a company, in any line of work.I am proficient in the use of Microsoft 365, I was a Fall semester Deans list recipient in 2023 and excel in majority of my classes, mainly business related studies. My background, education and determination are make me a valuable and important asset to a company.
