Was recruited to upgrade and then independently own, developed, and enhance one of our two nationally recognized online beauty retail stores, specifically Ofir (https://ofirbeauty.com). The front-end was written with native JavaScript components, leveraging as required a Liquid integration from a Shopify backend. I also did similar work on Lange (https://langehair.com).

I was hired specifically to bring Solutionreach to the modern era with new everything. I architected, created, and built the new UI framework, web app, and tooling independently, andthen hired others to help build out the component library I had started.I wrote the new front-end framework with raw Node.js, raw JavaScript, and leveraged a Reactlike JavaScript library to help other developers make components more quickly. Part of this process including writing a CLI using raw Node.js for helping developers get setup, build new components, and run other tasks. I wrote a custom router, and replaced the one built into the helper JS framework because it wouldn’t support the enterprise level application integrations we needed. As part of architecting, I made the decision to separate all sub applications for development teams to have control over, while allowing it to seamlessly integrate with the main/mother application locally or live.To meet a unique and very large critical use case, in three weeks, I wrote a 100% custom WYSIWYG in raw JavaScript with interactive elements that could be moved around as well allowing for the creation of emails with metadata for a clean and simple user experience.I wrote the foundation of the new global custom component library which included a robust custom WYSIWYG, uniquely specialized form elements, a complex accordion, many, many other components, and a variety of heavy lifting methods for faster development by our developers.I would train the company on a variety of topics such as new architecture concepts, UI development, and best practices.I moved the company from doing 35 minute local build times to a fraction of a second.I moved the deployment process from a 5 hour downtime to a continuous deployment process that would take seconds, or a few minutes to build before being pushed live without ever taking the system down.

I designed, developed and maintain the new websites for William Trubridge and his freediving company in the Bahamas called Vertical Blue. We used a video background for his athlete page and a unique navigation system sporting the nature of a "dive line." It was a great experience to help build William's ideas and to work with someone as genuine and talented as he is known for being.

Principal/sole developer of the AdvancedUI framework-agnostic UI component library. This library drives the components behavior and styles to unify the company's look & feel including several innovative and complex components for a unique experience.I built the framework-agnostic component library to include legacy and future web apps, and a new dedicated set for Angular 2+ web apps.Created three internal web apps with all demos and complete documentation for all components.Have been a changing voice for new technologies, and work with all the different teams and product owners to deliver common and complex custom components.

JustServe.org is an international web service allowing users to create and volunteer for seemingly limitless service opportunities.I’m responsible for training developers assisting on version 2 and also for the Agile workflow and communication between us as the team in both setting and meeting customer requirements.Soon-to-be-released v2 is a re-worked single page Angular application. There are over 30 views (most are only admin accessible) and made entirely of components. The current prod site is an Angular/jQuery hybrid and fully responsive (including heavy admin web apps).Before I took over the front-end, the product was only a prototype. Two years later we’ve started going international, been on the news, and had as much as 1,000 users sign up in a single week.I created the front-end stack and framework our team uses, including the back-end independent version 2. This stack runs on Node.js, Angular 1.x and the global components, directives, and styles I created as an inner framework for developers to consume.Developed on several other international websites (we typically release one new site a year, while developing enhancements and scaling existing ones).

Taught students front-end web development. Wrote the course outline. Wrote & graded the mid-terms, final-exams and final projects. Though contracted independently of the college, I taught the last two semesters as a stand-alone instructor and loved teaching and the interactions with the students. Seeing students progress and prepare for their futures is one-of-a-kind!

After my first semester taking "Intro to Programming" I did a lot of research and programmed a very versatile program for Melaleuca, Inc's call centers enabling the tracking of time worked, breaks of different types, percentages recorded throughout the month, a product knowledge game with animations and a graphical interface with customizable backgrounds (of my own photographs).
