As an optometrist at Specsavers, I provide high-quality eye care and solutions to a diverse range of patients. I am also a therapeutically-endorsed practitioner, which enables me to prescribe and manage ocular medications. I joined Specsavers in 2018 as an optical dispenser, and since then I have grown and developed my skills and knowledge through various programs and opportunities.I graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Optometry degree in 2020, and had my literature paper published in the Journal of Vision. Afterwards, I commenced practicing as an optometrist and completed the Specsavers Graduate Program. I was a Top 6 Finalist for my Graduate Project, which focused on improving first time multifocal user experiences. I am now Pathway Approved (Intake 36) at Specsavers with the goal of owning my own Specsavers. Subsequently, I have returned as a Pathway Mentor for the Victorian candidates for Intake 39 as well. I am also the Victorian Representative for the Early Career Optometrists (ECO) Advisory Committee, where I help to advocate and support my fellow ECOs. Finally, apart from being a mentor and advocate for my fellow ECOs, I am now continuing to focus on self-development opportunities in the Future Partner Forum while awaiting a good store opportunity.
