Adam graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from Frostburg State University in 1987. From there he traveled to Baltimore, MD to work as a Critical Care Technician, Technical Specialist, and eventually Supervisor of the Team at Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH). While at JHH he also attended and graduated from the JHH School of Perfusion Science with a Certificate in Perfusion. Upon graduation from Perfusion School in 1991, he worked at the University of Maryland as a Staff Perfusionist for 1 year before returning to JHH. At JHH he performed the roles of both Chief Perfusionist, and Program Director of the JHH School of Perfusion Science. While performing as the Chief Perfusionist at JHH, he received his Executive Masters in Business Administration Degree from Loyola College in Baltimore, MD in May of 2000.Immediately after graduating with his MBA, he started a career working for Sorin Group USA (aka Cobe Cardiovascular & LivaNova) as an Account Executive. Within 5 years he was promoted to Senior Account Executive. During his time with Sorin Group USA, Adam learned more about the business side of healthcare, and worked extensively with many of the great hospitals and healthcare systems in North and South Carolina. At Sorin, he received many honors including four Sales Representative of the Year Awards.Since April of 2016, Adam has been assisting Clients by providing Perfusion Relief & Placement Services, both with C3 Solutions, and currently with Perfusion Life. He enjoys matching Clinical Perfusionists with Clients in need of quality personnel. Last but not least, Adam is extremely proud and blessed to share his life with his Wife, and three Boys in Raleigh, NC.
