Request to support the position of Interim Plant Director for the Poland plant. Ricor group were running through a significant transition in relation to the complete re structure and introduction of global policies and procedures. At the time I was supporting programme development within the Poland facility and asked to take on additional responsibilities during the interim to support until the correct resource and structure could be implemented effectively. Taken as an opportunity to support my personal development.

Responsible for the preparation of full complex project timelines, in accordance with the schedule submitted and approved, allocation of resource and budget, all documentation, milestones, critical paths and gateway/phase elements monitored and controlled with the relevant department representatives. Effective implementation for all required areas including optimization solutions, risks, threats and opportunities. Management of people included teams across Europe and Asia.

First lead into the automotive industry; initially started by spending approx. 1-3 months within each department to obtain an understanding of the operations and company proceduresOfficial capacity of the role – intention to coordinate all new projects from the development of the CBD through feasibility and design reviews. Following the various elements of management through to SOPBecause of the capacity and size of the organization there were a number of additional areas that required support. Therefore, the role also encompassed more of a business management role handling both customer and internal responsibilities.
