Worked as the financial point of contact for a number of areas within Ofcom’s corporate service group, including the Governance & Accountability, HR and Facilities teams.Role involved a high degree of stakeholder management where I was a value adding member of each of the teams I supported. This included budgeting or quarterly forecasting periods and the preparation of business cases. A key element of this role required me to quickly develop strong relationships with each of the stakeholders to ensure they trusted in the outputs delivered.Core responsibilities included the monthly preparation of financial journals ahead of financial presentations to the directors of the teams within CSG. This allowed the directors to better manage their expenditure throughout the year. I also took the opportunity to support in a major construction/refurbishment project. This included the preparation of a business case for the appropriateness of the refurbishment, the development of reporting requirements to monitor the progress of the project and managing cash flow.
