Currently project managing Block A on BAM’s Newmarket Square Project. The building consists of 94 apartments in a 12 storey structure.

Setting out engineer on BAM’s Newmarket Square project comprising of a 151 Bed Hotel and 413 Apartments. The contract sum of the project will be approximately €120,000,000.

Completed Purcell's St. Teresa's Gardens Regeneration Housing Project and I am now working on our Balbriggan Nursing Home Project.Roles / Responsibilities:• Setting out of all building works. • Monitoring the construction regarding the quality of workmanship and materials. • Ensuring buildings are built to specification. • Producing “as constructed drawing” and details of construction methods. • Compiling method statements as required for execution of specific tasks or sections of works. • Ensuring compliance with OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 • Assisting in maintaining the progress on site in accordance with Project Program, H&S and Building Regulations. • Ensuring that the general site, compound and boundaries are set up and maintained in a good, tidy and presentable condition throughout the project.• Assisting and Liaising with Contracts Manager, Site Manager, Other Engineers, Q.S. and Head Office and the Design Team to ensure timely provision of essential reports, records, information and services. i.e. site diary, plant and labour allocation sheets, RFI’s, CVI’s, Contractor's Reports etc. • Liaising and coordinating with the CM & QS to ensure the project is constructed in a cost-effective manner, to meet overall budget requirements.• Liaising with the purchasing department to ensure that all materials and plant are requisitioned, ordered and delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner. • Supporting the project QS with the measurement, reporting and reconciliation of quantities, materials usage and waste.

I quickly became proficient in daily site managerial tasks and managing of subcontractors, through my training throughout my assistant site manager role. After graduating from university I developed my site management skills. I was given the opportunity to begin running my own jobs as a site manager in the clean room division. My final project I was on with Townmore consisted of me working as a site manager on a residential development consisting of 2 large apartment blocks.

Became proficient at setting out of large scale builds and reading construction drawings. I began training in site managerial tasks including the production of allocation sheets, O&M manuals, docket tracking systems, RFI's, progress report production, taking meeting minutes etc. This quickly became second nature to me.I quickly gained a strong knowledge in managing of sub-contractors on site, delegating of work and quality management while always ensuring a high level of safety.
