Capstan Bar Brewing Company is a small-scale craft microbrewery and taproom to be located in the City of Hampton, one of Virginia’s oldest cities and one with a strong nautical heritage. Capstan bars were stout poles of strong oak. They were used for leverage, particularly for operating a ship’s capstan, which was a simple machine used to haul up the ship’s anchor, and was operated manually by the ship’s crew during the age of sail. It had to be extremely strong in order to haul up the anchor, as did the members of the ship’s crew who pushed in unison to operate it. Thus, the capstan symbolizes strength, integrity, unity, and teamwork - the ethos of Capstan Bar Brewing Company (CBBC) and our team. CBBC will create outstanding handcrafted beers using the finest sourced ingredients in an efficient and sustainable manor blending old-world techniques with modern innovations in recipe development, bringing west coast-style and rotating artisanal handcrafted beers to the Hampton Roads Region of Virginia. CBBC will honor the rich historical and nautical legacy of the City of Hampton by producing fine artisanal beers, the names of which will be tied to historical events and anecdotes from the local area. CBBC is planning to open once our build-out is complete and all regulatory actions have been successful. CBBC anticipates opening our doors to the public May - June 2017!

Mr. Connolly functions as the Research Project Manager for the Energy Licensing and Compliance Services Group, which is a full-function energy consulting division; specializing in the licensing and relicensing of renewable energy developments; particularly hydro. Mr. Connolly prepares all documents required of utilities to remain in compliance with the FERC and other regulating agencies. The Energy Licensing and Compliance Services Group reinforces Alden Research Laboratory as a full-service consulting firm and is only a facet of Alden, which is an acclaimed leader in solving flow-related engineering and environmental problems. The firm provides physical and computational air, gas, and hydraulic modeling along with environmental engineering and flow meter calibration services. Founded in 1894, Alden is the oldest continuously operating hydraulic laboratory in the United States and one of the oldest in the world. From the early days of hydropower development and aviation, through World War I and II, and into the modern world defined by environmental needs, Alden has been a recognized leader in the field of fluid dynamics consulting.In the 21st Century, Alden is a vibrant, growing organization consisting of engineers, scientists, regulatory specialists, biologists, and support staff. Much of our work supports the power generating, manufacturing, and process industries. Located in the hills of Holden, Massachusetts, we occupy 32 acres of land on which sit numerous offices, laboratory buildings, and support facilities. Our on-site instrumentation, carpentry, and machine shops provide the specialty fabrication and data acquisition systems needed to support our wide range of complex and multifaceted projects.

I performed radiographic procedures expertly at a diagnostic level, not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performed a variety of procedures requiring ingenuity and initiative while applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Assumed responsibility for designated areas and all procedures as required while demonstrating exemplary patient care.
