I developed a distortion contribution analysis for analog electronic circuits. My analysis alows to pin-point the dominant source of distortion of a complex circuit. It works at both the transistor and system level. I have applied this distortion analysis to a plethora of different circuits, including operational amplifiers, gm-c filters, phase-locked.
