AV/IT Engineer onboard one of the largest and most prestigious yachts in the industry. Heavy guest usage for a high profile client dictates downtime is not an option, with a high dependence on internet connectivity and AV entertainment this role demands a high level of planning and technical ability to provide required service levels. The yacht features industry leading AV and IT equipment, all of which is supported and maintained in-house.

Marine project manager for multiple new build and refit project installations with a focus on AV, IT and communications systems onboard. Projects included installs for yachts between 50-140 meters.

A shore side position responsible as the owner’s representative and project management of all AV/IT, communications, bridge/navigation and security systems. The role demanded a high level of organisation, overseeing and managing the shipyard delivered the end product to a strict deadline, within the agreed budget and to the desired quality.• Design and review processes incorporating owner’s requests, contract specification, ABS and flag state requirements• Document control management including creation of build policies and procedures, conducting crew training and record management• Consultancy with the owner, the yard’s project team and external contractors• Leasing with suppliers and sourcing owners supply equipment to create a highly tailored and bespoke AV/IT solution • Creation of yacht planned maintenance schemes for all electronic equipment.• Heavily involved in the user design and deployment of and Rolls-Royce VMS and AV interfaces

S/Y Rosehearty 56m Perini Navi - ETORefit period solely designing, project managing and implementing updates, repairs and maintenance to the current AV, IT, communications and bridge systems.
