Adam is a Physician Assistant, Founder, and President of Ascent Concierge Health and NuMed Direct Primary. He also volunteers as the CXO of the Managed Service Providers Association of America.Adam stands as a highly accomplished healthcare professional, earning honors in exercise science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1995. His career journey commenced as an exercise physiologist and later as a pulmonary technologist at Boston Children's Hospital. Furthering his education, Adam pursued a Master's in Physician Assistance Studies from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, graduating in 2006. In 2022, he achieved a Doctorate of Medical Sciences from Lincoln Memorial University. With a diverse background, Adam has contributed to various healthcare sectors including internal medicine/primary care, pediatrics, geriatrics, and urgent care.Adam's dedication to patient care extends to his service in the Army National Guard since 2012, where he currently holds the rank of Major in Aeromedical Medicine within an aviation battalion. Demonstrating his commitment, he deployed to the Middle East in 2017 and Kosovo in 2020.Observing a concerning trend in the American healthcare system over the past three decades, Adam was at a professional crossroads in 2018, contemplating leaving the field. This pivotal moment spurred him to establish NuMed Direct Primary Care, emphasizing health and wellness rather than illness. Bolstered by NuMed's success, he ventured further to create Ascent Concierge Health, focusing on longevity and lifestyle medicine while reversing sickness. This program integrates advancements in Western medicine with ancestral and functional medicine approaches, alongside extended labs and biometric measurements, to enhance the healthspan of busy individuals.Beyond his professional pursuits, Adam finds solace outdoors with his family and three dogs, partaking in activities such as hiking, functional workouts, and rucking.
