Fundamental analysis and data science are the underlying passions that drive my investment philosophy.With over a decade of experience investing in REITs as a buy-side REIT analyst and then assistant portfolio manager, I have a deep understanding of commercial real estate, stock analysis, and portfolio construction. I bring this expertise, along with a data analytics skill set, to funds who need to enhance fundamental stock selection with data analysis, visualization, and predictive analytics. Discipline and adaptability are keys to my investment process, which utilizes Python to automate and enhance fundamental analysis, allowing me to have a unique understanding of the companies I cover, as well as shifts in market trends through advanced factor analysis. This process stems from a rich comprehension of fundamental stock valuation, investment catalysts, and portfolio management combined with Python, SQL, data analysis, data visualization, and machine learning. Outside of my data driven investment life, I am the proud owner of Sanda Fighting Arts (www.sandafightingarts.com), volunteer my time to prevent community violence, and am passionate about regenerative farming. I train/teach tai chi and other styles of martial arts, and am a life long learner.
