-Responsible for a group of integrated product team engineers who manage product life cycle support of supplier designed EMID (Electro-Mechanical Interface Device) components for Collins Aerospace Engine Controls division.

-Integrated Product Team Lead in Supplier Designed Equipment for Fuel/Actuation Products at Collins Aerospace Systems -Oversight of supplier designed products and product life cycle support of supplier designed fuel and actuation products supplied to Pratt & Whitney PurePower engines. -Technical interface between Supplier, the Program Office and other Collins organizations-Internal team management and coordination-Responsible for project planning, risk identification, risk mitigation and recovery plans

-Project management responsibility for power generation control units. The power generation control units span two product lines and seven aircraft applications. Project management responsibilities included budget, schedule, risk and change management, requirements management and associated capital investments.

-Design power electronic and embedded control equipment and oversee hardware builds and test activities. -Develop power electronics and embedded control electronic packaging concepts and detailed design from customer and internal specifications. -Prepare conceptual and detailed drawings using CAD software and create complete build of materials for electronic systems. -Perform and support design analyses for, component, sub-system and equipment thermal stress, component and sub-system mechanical stress, shock and vibration. -Utilize design to cost, provide cost effective solutions on new products, develop and implement cost reduction efforts on existing designs.-Work with manufacturing engineers to enhance manufacturability and design assembly tooling.-Prepare specifications, select components, purchase requisitions, test plans & reports.-Trained and managed contracted outsourced offshore design supplier providing technical oversight for common product line design and testing.

-Assisted manufacturing engineering team with manufacturing activities: safety, quality, cost and delivery.-Participated in quality projects, product launches, root cause analysis, and capability studies as well as in liaison engineering, Six Sigma, 5S, plant layout, equipment specification, justification and equipment installation.-Documented and distributed performance metrics, charts, graphs and reports.-Worked with engineers to create new products and design processes.-Participated in Lean Manufacturing initiatives through Kaizen events.
