As a contracted Project Management asset placed with Wells Fargo Advisors, I contributed within the Regulatory Change Management program, serving as the key technical liaison between business, compliance and technology groups creating project milestones and artifacts under proprietary governance models. Primary responsibilities included: led solution architecture review sessions for skate holder and sponsor acceptance for multi-phase, multi-year application development project with third party vendor integration; collaborated with technical leadership and supply chain management vetting third party vended products utilizing RFI/RFP processes; generated project artifacts and actionable metrics to program and project governance entities; created monthly and overall project financial forecasts and budgets partnering with resource and demand management teams, as well as maintaining continuous financial oversight to maintain <7% budget variance.

As a Project Manager within a new PMO, owned direct responsibility for Information Services, Operational and Regulatory initiatives supporting the hospital’s mission and financial strategies for long term growth. This was achieved by: Successfully assumed and completed multiple in-life projects supporting CMS Meaningful Use Stage 2 regulatory compliance requirements; Adoption of in-flight project management techniques and communication for enterprise-wide Point-Of-Service patient payment collection project across regional geographic scope; Communications Liaison for hospital-wide vended Electronic Health Record upgrade. Nationally, this endeavor was one of only two hospitals to successfully complete an upgrade of this magnitude; as it affected every aspect of hospital business lines; Utilized new PMO and operational project methodologies consisting of: Discovery, Requirements Analysis, and Work Breakdown Structure analysis versus patient care impact, Development, Testing, Implementation, Quality Assurance, Project/Product Value-Added Validation and Lessons Learned.

As a Project Manager I had the privilege and challenge of leading pilot solution migration projects implementation a SaaS (Software as a Service) driven electronic health record product supporting firm initiatives of best-in-class patient care delivery and customer revenue maximization; serving as primary liaison between customer and Healthland stakeholders, owning all activities via accepted project plan, including the definition and completion of project goals, objectives, team tasks and risk mitigation. This opportunity also focused on the strategic coordination of new product migrations nationwide encompassing: partnering with C-Level decision makers and sponsors developing project communication methods and tools; validation and adherence of product and service expectations per contract; product build strategy and training planning across functional teams; issues/risks documentation, escalation and resolution tracking.

RehabCare (purchased by Kindred Healthcare in 2011) provided contract physical therapy services within hospitals nationally and owned 17 post-acute hospitals nationwide. As a Senior Business Analyst for the hospital division, focused on RFP contribution, vendor selection, product build and deployment of financial and clinical systems. This was achieved by directly contributing to an enterprise consolidation project to convert disparate hospital EHR systems to one common solution (McKesson Paragon), reducing deployment and support costs while maximizing patient care reimbursement and reducing account receivable days. Key responsibilities included the design of clinical, health information management (HIM), functional and user security solution templates for multi-hospital rollout strategy. As well as drafting technical requirements for application upgrades, enhancements and patch/fixes to new hospital application builds and acquisitions. While continuing to provide 2nd tier customer issue resolution support. Additionally, created and published product user test cases, system policies and end-user product education materials.

Originally known as Purkinje, a start-up full Electronic Health Record solution for small medical practices and clinics, and later acquired as an integral part of Lumeris. Lumeris provides the information technology, guidance, and operational services necessary for hospitals and health plans to transform their organizations into high-performing accountable delivery systems. Project Manager – EHR Implementation Provided implementation and project management services utilizing both internal and external resources using Waterfall implementation method.Directed and tracked EHR in-house and channel partner implementations; providing weekly status reports to principle stakeholders. As a Implementation Specialist, I had the pleasure of implementing over 20 successful electronic health record solutions across the country, ranging in size and scope from single practice to multi-site groups of over 50 providers; while ensuring timely delivery of established project milestones. Later evolving responsibilities led to providing top tier re-engagement services to “at-risk” customers realigning implementation expectations, objectives and support advance product-training efforts.

As a Systems Coordinator for one largest premier healthcare facilities in the St. Louis metropolitan area, served as the hospital/vendor focal point of contact responsible for all registration and patient identity/authentication technical solutions, which encompassed: Development and forecast and tracking hospital departmental annual technology budget; solicitation of 3rd party vendor hardware and service quotes, as well as coordination product/solution installations with hospital leadership to ensure implementation adhered to project schedules and budgets; project leadership for hospital-wide implementation of new Document Scanning and Electronic Forms project efforts; direct departmental stakeholder leadership for CPOE, Patient Documentation Image Capture and Web Hospital Registration system initiatives.
