As a Residence Hall Director, my job required that I had a variety of responsibilities. My main task was to train and manage a staff of up to 5 undergraduate Resident Advisors (RA) and to make sure that they can, and are, completing their duties to their residents. I was also their point of contact for any questions that they may have while doing their duties. Time management is also a large part of this position, as I am expected to schedule and attend several meetings with not only my staff but also with the other Housing supervisors across the UCM campus. This position has also been during my time at UCM as an undergraduate student.

During my time at Duke Manufacturing, I utilized Solidworks to complete assembly drawings necessary for new product development, which included dimensions and exploded views. I actively worked with the design and engineering department both in the office and in the shop/fabrication area. Another large part of my role included file management and updating data within Duke's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.

Tasks include but are not limited to oil changes, tire rotations, mounting/balancing tires, coolant/transmission flushes, battery/bulb replacements, pre-delivery inspections, etc.During this time, I also assisted more experienced technicians with tasks including, but not limited to, vehicle diagnostics and engine/transmission replacements.

During my time as a resident assistant (RA), I and my co-RA overlooked a floor of over 80 college freshman residents. We were tasked with enforcing University Housing policies, hosting events in order to get our residents engaged with the campus, and collaborating with our fellow co-staff in order to make sure that our dormitory hall functioned as expected. This was completed during my time as an undergraduate student taking 17+ credit hours, so time management was a crucial part of my daily schedule.
