The Director for the STEPP Program provides leadership for the daily operations of the program, as well as the overall program mission and vision. This position represents the program to the larger campus community and requires collaboration with a variety of campus stakeholders. The Director collaborates with campus leadership for the broader mission of student support at ECU, supervises other STEPP team members, and provides oversight of the program budget and performance outcomes to ensure that the two-part mission of STEPP is operationalized in the program’s day-to-day activities.

The Senior Associate Director coordinates the daily operations of theprogram and works closely with students and other staff members to ensure a smooth flow ofcommunication, resources, data collection, and coordination related to STEPP Program goals. Theprimary functions of this position are (1) student support and dailyoperations; (2) advising; and (3) marketing and fundraising.

Member of the Leadership Team which collaboratively works to provide leadership and vision in the establishment of policy and procedures to effectively deliver comprehensive career services specific to the area of Employer Relations for the university.Responsible for establishing partnerships with new employers while maintaining existing relationships through strategic outreach.Implement and develop recruitment strategies and programs designed to enhance employer relationships with the university colleges, departments, students, faculty, and staff.Manage daily program operations, develop program policy/procedure, conduct program assessment and evaluation, manage fiscal administration and participate in strategic planning.Oversees the major programs of: on-campus recruitment (business and industry), employer relations strategic planning and implementation, Internship coordination, employer advisory board and corporate fund relations in assistance with the Director for the department.

Build a sustainable network of college and university partners within the UNC system and beyond in an effort to make college campuses more supportive environments for students with learning disabilities Oversee external partnerships and build sustainable connections with post-secondary institutions nationwide by developing network goals, objectives, and systems.Develop, deliver, & evaluate yearly face-to-face summits and virtual network-wide quarterly meetings for network members.Collaborate with key organizational partners to create and implement a sustainability plan for the network past the external funding period.Create and implement a successful recruitment plan to grow the network by 50% within the first year in the role, then onboard new programs/members.Evaluate and develop short, mid, and long-range strategic planning related to the network's mission, vision, and capabilities.Design, deliver and evaluate leadership and professional development workshops and programs for network members.Build collaborative relationships with organizational partners to enhance positive organizational culture. Conduct needs assessments (e.g., member engagement survey) throughout the network and design, deliver, and evaluate targeted strategies to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency.Create and share presentation and workshop materials, flyers, and promotional materials.Collaborate with Technology Specialist and Conference Planning Committee for planning and facilitation of yearly online conference.Evaluate the effectiveness of the network and write final reports to share with network funders.Oversee program budget and enhancing program website infrastructure based on programmatic goals
