As Operations Manager I am responsible for the development and growth of all business units. These units include open space maintenance and asset services, landscape maintenance and landscape construction.My responsibilities include ensuring that all contract requirements are met in a timely and professional manner, budgets are maintained, client expectations are achieved within budgetary constraints, staff are recruited, managed and supported effectively, company policies are respected, Quality, OH&S and environmental standards are maintained and that the integrity of the company is protected to the highest degree possible. Additionally I maintain productive and professional relationships with clients, manage subcontractors and manage and maintain the associated plant and equipment.I lead and manage staff recruitment, induction, training, career development and performance management. I promote company values and culture by fostering staff and this is reflected through their work ethic, approach to service delivery and quality control.As Operations Manager I am accountable for the entire operations and building the company's business portfolio. Other activities include attending client meetings, job costing/estimation, tender preparation and contract transitioning.I am also responsible to ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to by all staff and subcontractors which in-turn enables the company to be successful in maintaining certification in Quality AS/NZS 9001, Environment AS/NZS ISO 14001, AS/NZS ISO 45001 and OHS AS/NZS 4801 systems.Additional current key roles, tasks and experience includes:*Project Management and Project transitioning *Cost and Budget analysis*Implementing Traffic Management Processes, Procedures and Training*Recruitment and Inductions*OHS Process Implementation, Documentation and Training*Resourcing of plant and equipment
