• Supervise the preparation, loading, tie in and firing of pre strip, over burden, interburden, pre- split and mid-split shots at Goonyella Riverside Coal Mine.
• Support both BMA and DBS Supervisors in coordinating crew, equipment, raw material deliveries and blasting operations at Goonyella Riverside Coal Mine.
• Train and assess employees on equipment and procedures relevant to blasting operations for DBS at Goonyella Riverside Coal Mine.
• Load and operate explosive trucks and associated mixing attachments for RAMS Truck, Bowl Truck and Tread Truck to provide ANFO, Throwmax and Aquamax products as required.
• Perform all Reload and Yard duties as required.
• Liaise with Staff and Supervisors to address concerns as B Crews Health and Safety Representative.

• Responsible for managing and coordinating an 8 person vegetation control work force responsible for maintaining power line corridors on a sub-contractor basis for Ergon Energy across Queensland. This role consisted of;
• Manage all auditing, reporting, hazard assessment, personnel management, site budgeting and planning as per Ergon, Eastern Trees and Mossman Port Douglas Tree Lopping business requirements.
• Communicate effectively with Eastern Trees and Ergon Supervisors and Area Managers in order to promote a healthy and beneficial working relationship.
