Third year undergraduate Civil Engineering student with a genuine passion for anything Structural or Geotechnical. I also do have a thing for social progress and making an impact, so I try incorporating my interests in the humanities, ethics, and sustainability in all that I do and in all my past work and volunteering experiences. I enjoy working in teams and playing the leader position for I love engaging with people and facilitating discussions.I learned most of my technical skills in uni, although the ones I like I do practice a lot outside of coursework just for personal enjoyment. These are:- AutoCad- Sketchup- Tekla Structural Designer (this comes extremely handy)The rest I can say that I am decently good at: - Civil3D- Space Gass- Matlab- RI also can code a little bit in Ruby and a little bit in PHP and Js. HTML and CSS was more fun for me though, but not as challenging, I had some personal projects involving all of these. Besides, I am quite handy with Excel sheets and can make professional looking presentations in Word, Powerpoint, Canva and the likes.Outside of my academics, I enjoy reading Philosophy, making 3D models in Blender, and playing planning or building video games. I also like my soccer and footy, but most importantly I love hitting the gym.Goalwise, I am trying to kickstart my career in the industry through the Placement Program. I'm excited to try apply what I've learned but also gain knowledge from the people that came before me, while trying also to make a difference.
