• Selecting and sizing products that best match the customers specifications/requirements.• Designing new systems & producing technical proposals based on customer requirements• Undertake steam trap survey at clients site & produce, present findings report.• Assist with the undertaking of technical boiler house risk assessments & following report.• Produce basic system isometric & P&ID drawings.• To answer phone and record/ process enquires or direct to correct person/department.• Process orders in through SAGE, including packing and dispatch - process paper work as required.• Process orders out through SAGE - process paper work as required.• Process goods in and handling of stock - process paper work as required.• Process photo copy work as required.• Assist sales engineers as required(including research, obtain quotations from our suppliers etc.) in the production of quotations including typing up and final issue to the sales engineers prospect.• To undertake office duties in accordance with Flomar standards.• To attend sales meetings as directed by the sales and project manager.• Maintain warehouse, goods in/out and stock area to a high standard.• Provide post sale support to customers.• Handle and maintain documents/records to in accordance with Flomar standards.

For the first two years of my employment I worked on a part time basis to accommodate my studies following completion of which I moved on to a full time contract.* To use my product knowledge and selling skills to build sales by engaging customers whilst promoting products, offers and new lines.* To minimise waste by careful stock handling, replenishing shelves, rotation, markdowns and the organising of excess stock.* To ensure that all areas are kept clean and hazard free by using good housekeeping procedures and following health and safety guidelines.* Code checking which involves examining stock and requires a good eye for detail.* A large proportion of time was spent using my own initiative, however it is also important to work alongside department colleagues whilst maintaining pace and focus. *As a full time member of staff I was often left to deputise in the absence of management and with that came added responsibility and duties.
