Leads Horticulture staff in the planning and execution of all aspects of major exhibitions, including creating interpretation and giving special tours. Works closely with Exhibitions, Capital Projects and Operations Staff to facilitate construction, repair, and project work in the outdoor gardens, displays, and herbaceous plant collections. Works closely with all Garden departments to facilitate, coordinate, and implement work for Garden events, public service activities, and educational services. Regularly gives tours and makes presentations to the public and board. Teaches classes for students in the School of Professional Horticulture and Continuing Education programs. Participates in institutional planning efforts. Represents the Garden in the media and in meetings and professional conferences.

Studied heritage gardening practices and landscape design. Performed research on historic collections and garden spaces of Hidecote Manor. Japan - Designed and implemented seasonal conservatory displays.
