I worked as a hybrid product/technology leader. My job titles over the last 10 years have been product focused, but I have never stopped programming, researching, and keeping up with state-of-the-art engineering and cloud environments. I became a manager of multiple cross-functional teams within ESL after successfully growing my previous projects. My main gaming projects included Badlion and CSGO HUB.

I joined ESL FACEIT Group to build the future of Minecraft esports with Badlion after selling my previous business. I led the Badlion team of 10+ including product management, engineering, customer support, marketing, and more.

In addition to my Product work at ESL FACEIT Group, I also spent a lot of time managing engineering teams, optimizing workflow processes, designing software architectures, and coaching/growing software engineers in both the Badlion team and others as well.In the 5 year span I:- Oversaw multiple software architectures which utilized microservices that handled up to 100k concurrent users and 1000s of requests per second- Encouraged teams to constantly explore cost saving opportunities which led to opportunities to save up to $50k a year through software optimizations- Evaluated technical partners to solve complex business needs such as OTP streaming technology, autoscaling infrastructure, and more.

I co-founded a competitive Minecraft gaming service called Badlion Network. My co-owner and i wanted to build the future of Minecraft esports. Our key achievements included:- Scaling a 30 concurrent player server to over 10k concurrent players- Creating events online that had a peak concurrent viewership of 30k viewers- Building custom game formats in Minecraft such as ArenaPvP, and our famously large UHC matches- Creating a team of 5+ full time team members- Selling the project to ESL FACEIT Group in 2016My key responsibilities included:- Managing the software engineering team as the lead engineer- Managing the business as the majority share owner- Ensuring a stable infrastructure with our dedicated bare metal servers- Programming the majority of the code base with a mix of Java and Python 2

Originally hired as a test engineer for the government division of Qualcomm, I was transferred on the first day of assignment to an internal tool teams in the normal division of Qualcomm due to funding problems. I worked with the team to improve the tools that they provided to the rest of the company for creating builds for the mobile phone software the company used. I later did join back to the government division, and wrote test software for a couple of months there before my startup was skyrocketing and left the position to pursue that.

I worked with the Power Management Team for Windows Phones and Tablet devices writing test software for Qualcomm. I focused on writing code in C++ and worked very closely with the developers of the project during this summer internship. I was later offered a job at the company full time due to the positive experience I brought to the company.

I worked at Qualcomm with one of the internal tool teams during my internship that focused on parsing crash dumps from the phones the company was working with. My focus was creating the UI for this tool, which was done with C# and the .NET framework. This tool was used at the company for many years after my first internship concluded at Qualcomm I later discovered, which was amazing to hear.

I began working at McDonalds after I turned 16. I then worked my way up from a crew, to a crew trainer, up to a swing manager. I was responsible for the entire restaurant during my shift. I also did many training seminars for other restaurants.
